Where did you grow up and what was it like?
Mildura – THE BEST. I got to grow up in the vineyard. Driving four-wheelers, getting dirty in the channel and collecting yabbies as pets. I wouldn’t trade my childhood in the country for anything.
What did you want to be when you grew up?
A Lawyer… A Model… A Director…. I never in a million years thought I would end up a Fitness & Lifestyle Coach (which I totally made up on the spot once anyway).
Why did you start your own business?
I wanted to work for myself *insert monkey emoji with hands over eyes*. But seriously… That’s the truth. I grew up seeing my parents work for themselves, and I wanted to do the same. I had about 10 jobs (probably more) I collected experience from before venturing into the adult world of risk and reward.
Have you had setbacks and how did you get through those?
Yesss. But I honestly don’t remember them clearly. I don’t think I pay much attention to my setbacks. I’ve kind of learnt and moved on. I think you’ve just got to be careful about who you are taking advice from and letting into your head. Always trust your gut and don’t let anyone dim your light because of ‘Tall Poppy Syndrome’.
What do you feel most proud of?
The collective babes who I am lucky to call my clients and work with. How amazing they are towards one another. The friendships they have formed. It’s wonderful to see it all blossom and unfold under your eyes.
How do you stay focused on your goals?
I don’t give up until I achieve them. If you aren’t driven to wake up and work towards your goal every day, then maybe it isn’t the right goal at that time in your life. It doesn’t mean it never will be, perhaps another goal will inspire you into more action at that time. There are lots of stars to aim for.
What are your 3 best tips to ensure your body and mind stay healthy?
1. Eat clean whole foods that nourish your mind and body.
2. Exercise daily. Don’t freak out, this just means moving you body in whatever way you feel called to.
3. Be kind to yourself. Tell yourself the things you love about you, not all the things you don’t.
What does a normal day look like for you?
My days vary SO much…. if I’m not at home waking up at 5am to begin work and commence my day (usually in bed by 9pm). Then I could be travelling to Melbourne to see my partner. Then our days in Melbourne completely throw a spanner in the works. My life is far from routine at the moment.
Guilty pleasure: I don’t go shopping often but when I do, I have my favourite brand that is a little pricey. So it’s my treat to myself sometimes 😉

Favourite personal development book: hmmm… Tough one to choose. Probably “How to win friends and influence people” by Dale Carnegie
Favourite quote: “Choice, not chance, determines destiny”
Best advice you ever received: “Don’t throw the baby out with the bath water”
